Demented but cute and definitely not sexy
I didn't mind the old Wicked Workshop logo, but I understand why they had to change it. It featured a "sexy witch", which seemed a little old-fashion, and the new art director at the games studio was determined to update it.
This was a fun project as I literally pumped out about 60 logo ideas that they could choose from, and there were some great options in there! But to the art director, one stood out—this one-eyed cat.
She described it as "demented but cute," and after a few refinements, we had a brand new logo to go on their brand new website that our development team created.
I also hid a witch's hat in the "W" as a little nod to their old branding.
